Local Reaction
“We’ve been watching the space transform for months, and it’s exciting to finally have somewhere new to gather downtown,” said a New Port Richey resident who attended the soft opening. “The location is perfect – right in the heart of everything.”
“What’s happening downtown is exciting – there’s a real momentum building,” said a patron who works nearby. “Each new place that opens gives people another reason to spend time downtown instead of driving to Tampa or Clearwater.”
Downtown Community
The new establishment enters a downtown landscape that includes venues like Sips Wine Bar, Cotee River Brewing Company, Sullivans, Dented Keg, The Kangaroo, Village Pub, Bourbon on Main, Emerald Coast Brewing, and many more – each of which has contributed to creating a more exciting community and nightlife in what was once a slow downtown area.
As downtown New Port Richey continues to evolve, Rosie’s Tavern appears positioned to become part of the neighborhood’s growing identity as a destination for dining, drinks, and entertainment in Pasco County.
